Rathies, NSW, AU. 4.7 Taka 1250 Flow. Beaut session off Rathies. Had the bay to myself and made the most of it. Such a great place to foil.

Mine went pop, whilst pumping. At about full pressure, it all came out like a bomb as the seems busted. Having such good feelings about that wing, I'd brought no other kit atall. Lucky I decided to come join the crew here as I nearly went from the other side. Progression much again, doing some S turns. Got a sore back hand when I first went out to the other side, that was slightly nasty. I went straight past the racing to in behind Mungo Point to get a break before turning and heading back. 
Lots of happy campers, sailors seemed well relaxed and happy at day 3 of the event there. Good to make it up for a quick hello atleast.

Day 3 of NSW Slalom Championships.  Wind was way better than forecast, had a few overpowered races on the foil then switched to the fin for a blast.   Thanks to everyone who came along and made a great event!

Racing today with wind predicted around 17 knots perhaps.

Headed out early and did a 3km run to Mungo before the start. Conditions were ideal and had done 20km before the first race.

Plenty of holes in the first race as everyone stopped at some stage with Tibor producing a gutsy effort to win the windfoil race.

Next 3 races were better with wind picking up to 20 knots at times and maybe more. It was very testing but very rewarding.

Thanks to the organisers and boat crew over the weekend as there was so much to do with the wind shifting regularly and courses to be reset.

Once the races were over went free riding in the flatter water and was going to call it quits when Ian came out for a few runs.

All was good until Ian went in and the wind swung North making the cross shore breeze an upwind breeze and had to tack my way back to camp.

Ended up adding a few kilometres further to the distance.

Plenty of PB's today after a week of sailing at a great spot with great people.

Lots of stories from the week but thanks to Ian, Glen, Leanne, Barry, Mick & Geoff for looking after me this week until my wife got there to sort me out.

Thanks to Mick and Pauline for explaining Backgammon to me and Geoff for taking the time to help Bree with a lesson on the club board.

Yesterday we had a lay day due to lack of wind so, today is the last day for is. Would you believe we had the same wind as on the first day. A N EASTERLY but nothing like the ones we know from Marmong.  More like a crazy westerly with mas gusts every few meters an sometimes nothing much in between.  I decided to do only one race as I got really worn out. However,  that was my best race ever. Thought I got a first but found out that my friend Àkos was the winner. Obviously we went home with a smile though Àkos is sporting a deep cut under one of his eyes from the falling mast.

Hydrofoil 155 Flow 1500 North 4.6 then Sailworks 7.1 then North 4.6.

Some days are better forgotten. Dumb sail selection was the problem made worse by the fact that one isde of the lake had 20 plus kn and the other around 12.

shore it was gusty 10kts to 20 but great runs when powered up.
