There was less wind than I'd hoped for, but I got a few good runs across the bay.

Our expectations were too high and I went too small. Should have been on the 7.2m and maybe big board.
The 22cm was a bit big for the thick weed and I was on the bottom at times gybing on the E side.
I wanted some gybe practise and I got that. Too patchy for a decent alpha but I got one gybe I was very happy with.
I wanted to improve my distance for the month. Hardwork as I was off the plane a bit and underpowered mostly 2.46hrs moving time.
Even a patchy underpowered NE is easier sailing than a W.
Mike , Greg ( who chose better gear) and Pugs.

Hanging in it at Jimmy's, powered, love it. Started on 120 with 6.5 and 35. Nice. Then took the Carbon Art sl58 92ltr for its first spin at at Jimmy's with Black Project 34 weed speed, Hughes old fin. I didn't get my ass bitten trying to water start so that's good. Going good, a bit of work to keep it pointing though. Swapped back to F-Race with BP 34. This was some of the sweetest sailing I've ever had, the fin would slip sometimes but could be corrected. It just felt fun. The board felt massive after the CA and was gybing lovely. So fun, motoring anywhere I wanted to go with ease. The caravan park entrance was super busy with beach people, a couple wingers down there, the spit didn't have soul on it but me. Mobdog came later. I didn't feel like stopping but the winf stopped.
