Not comfortable today and the SE wind was also VERY uneven. Tomorrow should be better..

On and off SSE. Some nice flights but lots of dogging with a stack of skiffs out today made things interesting.

Just Barry, Tibor Kev and I on foil and Jeff and Rob on fin.

Se 5-12 knots mostly.

EMX 185, NP Evo Flight 7.8m, F4 1000 front.

First go on the FMX. Set up an F4 from parts donated by Lindon and Barry.

Very tentative to start with. Small board and big sail very different to what I have been using.

F4 needed more speed to stay up. Would crash down during starting. Worked out how not to keep doing tha and all good.

Board was very different. Didn't dig in on the corners during driver errors. Touch downs were less as the board didn't stick like the bigger boards do.

Good session for a first run which was very different to what I am used to.

Longer foil mast was very different being another 100mm higher seemed to keep above the waves easily. But had to go deeper to start and stop.

Conditions weren't ideal with big lulls and wind shifts and the Tasar State Titles in the middle of the normal club racing.

Bit of damage to the fuselage and mast to be repaired.

Managed not to sail with Barry, Tibor and Geoff again. Didn't get to them before their hour was up and they had to come in for afternoon tea.

Hopefully out Monday if I can get enough Foil gear repaired by then. Forecast around 20 knots ENE.

Area 45, Mahers Landing, VIC, AU

Another good day at Inverloch.  East wind that gradually built up to 20+knots.

Exocet RS4 , 6.3 KA Race , 35 Hurricane.

Last sail of this trip. Heading home Monday and Tuesday.

Has been an enjoyable trip and was great to catchup and meet sailors at LG and Inverloch.

Looks like you've had a fun time on the fin Ian You need another fin sailor with some wind to back you up.
