Southerly 20-30kts+
Falcon 80 litres, 23cm weed speed, 5.8 Duotone warp.
Brutal session, great wind for once, but way too deep and choppy.
The sort of session that you are just happy to survive.

181 days ago 2 categories Budgewoi Lake, NSW, AU. CA92, Severne OD 5.0, 23 carbon pepe weedy. I hoped for something and it wasn’t that. Worse than expected as upon arrival greeted by exiting Matt, GregK and Andrew all agreeing that it was rough out there. Dont think i’ve ever heard one of them complain about too much wind but i think they did. Was daunting..The only worse thing at that point would be to have left without sailing. So out and back became the only goal. Sending over the back of chop was an unexpected pleasure, so smooth once going, just getting out of it at the end was the issue. Out alone between morning and arvo shifts. Bit suss knowing what bottom was like alone. I got out before Bruce and Mike came out. Only mildly satisfied with the session i was thinking to wait for next round of people but no body came, impatient, made tracks south instead. Was planning to hang out in Budgy town for a few days but talk about speed places south made me just go. Grek fyi i’ve gone lol. Viva Wollumboula 😆
